Facts about Silken Windhound
There are two types of Silken Windhounds: the one very similar to the Longhaired Whippet and a miniature copy of the Russian Borzoi.
Description
“Silken” in the name of the breed is due to these dogs’ unusually airy and flowing, high-quality silk-like coat.
Sometimes, it’s hard to distinguish the Silken Windhound from its ancestor, Russian Borzoi, especially if you are looking at the picture and don’t know how small the animal is.
