Description
The Sheltie is a lovable furball with a conflict-free personality, a charming smile, and an endless sense of self-esteem that you just want to cuddle. From their sheepdog ancestors, only passion for walks and loud, high-pitched barking remained, which, however, hasn't spoiled them at all. Moreover, in just a few decades, these Shetland dogs have managed to change their qualification drastically, having passed a difficult way from humble village shepherds to real city dwellers. Sheltie fur makes a very warm, therapeutic knitwear.
Small puppies should not be petted on the head, frequent stroking leads to a disturbance of the normal ear position.
When bathing in cold weather the sheepdog's mane dries out completely only on the third day.
