Description

Golden Retrievers are smart hunters, perfect fluffy children, and best companions that love affection and kind treatment. A well-behaved Golden Retriever will gladly fulfill any tasks, but won’t act as if he made the greatest thing in the world. The only reward that these dogs expect for being the good boys that they are is simple human attention, which to these pups is much more valuable than the finest delicacies. These dogs are known for their good appetite but sometimes swallow foreign objects. One of them swallowed a light bulb and the other 26 golf balls.
At the Oklahoma Zoo, a raccoon dog once rejected its pups. The situation was saved by a newly-pregnant Retriever who nursed and raised both her own and that other litter from the zoo.
